No, not me personally! My website has gotten a fresh face. I have been crazy busy for months designing and making patterns for Craftsy (with a couple for Robert Kaufman sprinkled in) and I’ve decided that I need to find more balance by giving my own personal website and business some love also. I am in the process of adding new patterns and I want to offer more free tutorials, sew-alongs and fun content for you!

I have had a few inquiries about offering kits for a few of my flying geese patterns (like Gaggle of Geese), so you don’t have to buy or find 32 or more different solids. The kit would include all the fabric needed for the geese and then you would provide your own background. Is this something that would be of interest to you?

Good for you for doing your own website! I wanted to alert you to a few things if this helps. When I got your e-mail notification, the pictures in the e-mail are large and easy to see. But when I clicked to go to your actual web page, the pictures are all very small. I can’t see the detail in the fabric like I could in my e-mail. Also, the color you have chosen for your font is very modern, colorwise, but I think for people with vision troubles, it is difficult to see. It is also very small. Your Gaggle of Geese quilt is really striking! How would you categorize the difficulty level?
Thanks, Janice! I am trying to figure out how to change the font color to black. I did enlarge it, but I agree that it can still be difficult to see. The photos in this post are just thumbnails, since they are all photos I have posted before and I wanted people to focus on the text, but I normally have larger photos. I would categorize the Gaggle of Geese as Advanced Beginner . You probably wouldn’t want to do it as your first quilt(though I did see one that was done as a first quilt!), but the paper-piecing is pretty straight forward and once you do once template, the rest are the same. The curves are also quite large, so they are not difficult.
I’d love a gaggle of geese kit!
