Thanks for sharing advice on sewing machines some weeks ago. Earlier this week I got a sewing machine for my birthday with regards from my husband, parents, and rest of family – yes!
It’s a Pfaff Select 2.0 and I am really glad for this model. It seems very robust. However, I haven’t dared to start sewing as I can read it hasn’t got the IDT as the next models. So I have decided to talk to the shop and see if I can exchange it to a Select 3.0 or 4.0. It’s not that much difference in price actually.
Just wanted to let you know that your advice has been appreciated and useful.

Janice, I am currently doing the storm at sea as seen on Keepsake site. Blacks a grey tones, I have made all my sq blocks and and trying to start rectangle pp. I have the R fabric feathers strip I cut at
7×3 1/2 then I cut on diagonal bottom right to top left as directions showed. I am trying to put them together not paper piecing in another way I worked out. The problem is I can only do one on each side there is not a mirror image piece the way the directions show. Please advise.
