Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day!

It’s time again for Sew, Mama, Sew’s Giveaway Day (which is actually a WHOLE week!).  I do love a good giveaway and I’ve been holding onto this stack of fabric for you guys for awhile.

If you are new to my blog, welcome!  I’m Janice and I live in Southern California with my husband and two little ones (Liam is 3 and Emmeline is almost 2).  I’m a costume designer by profession, but I love sewing quilts, kid’s clothing and decor with modern and vintage fabrics. At the top of my blog you can find my finished quilts, projects and tutorials.  I also host a sewing link-up each week called “Sew Cute Tuesday“.

The winner will receive everything pictured above, which is 28 different prints. Most cuts are 9″x 18″, a few are 6″x 18″ and the fabric in the middle is 23″x 23″.  This is more than enough for a super-soft and buttery baby quilt.  Add sashing and you can make a huge quilt!

I used these same fabric to make this Scrappy Trip Around the World quilt earlier this year and I’m giving you everything I have left!

  140. I’m piecing a quilt top now with a pattern from Red Pepper Quilts called HST Overload…basically HST blocks on point. I’m using a variety of Kaffe Fasset prints, and I love his fabrics!

  145. One Favourite fabric line is like asking a mother to choose between her kids (thankfully I only have one so you can’t ask me that). I am going to have to say “The Simple Life” today. I just got my first Voile today and I am in love with how soft it is. These are just amazing prints and I would love to give them a new home. Thanks for sharing.

    My favorite line of fabrics is anything Civil war REpro – but, my favorite book would have to be “fast and fun machine quilting.” It’s an older book but it is the ABSOLUTE most AWESOMEST reference to everything machine quilting! I highly recommend it!

  1176. My all time favorite book is Towers in the Mist, which I first read when I was about 12, and I re-read every couple of years. No quilting (it’s set in Elizabethan England), but it’s my fave. Lovely fabrics.

But I have a soft spot for Woodland Tails by Sheri Berry Designs for Riley Blake. I’m currently planning to use some of it for my upcoming baby’s nursery.

  1227. I love Chickopee, like most DS lines, they never look anything special as just a fabric line, then you start to see other people’s creations and the fabrics look amazing together. ruby is another fav!

In fact, on Monday I bought a giant cut of coloring garden for a quilt back, but that was my first bit of it, because I thought I didn’t want to buy a couple of small pieces and mix them in with quilting cottons.
