WIP Wednesday

29 Aug

Would you believe that I JUST realized it’s Wednesday?  Things have been in an uproar here with our move, plus we were traveling for 4 days this past week, so not a lot got done.

Here is a sneak peak of my project for Fab Little Quilt Swap:

New York Beauty circle of flying geese

It’s a little crinkly in the photo, because the papers haven’t been torn out yet.  I have the paper-piecing done on all four blocks and now I am sewing all the sections together.  I’ll show you the whole mini-quilt once my partner has it in her hot little hands.  I am SO excited about this one!

That is the last project that I MUST finish before our move.  I also just finished a project for a tutorial which will be posted over at Lily’s Quilts on Friday.  More on that later, too!

I still need to get cracking on the “Unwind” Quilt. Right now, it is a VERY large and intimidating pile of blocks:

I also have bee blocks to make for Kelly  (the fabrics she sent are so yummy!) and I’m already dreaming of all the items I am going to make for our house once we move.  Time to cut into my stack of Anna Maria Horner voiles!

I’m also sporting new glasses.  Check them out!

I’m linking up with WIP Wednesday over at Freshly Pieced.

I hate you and your damn craftyness. I’m STILL working on Drew’s quilt, but at least I have cut it out, right? Now I just need to get around to sewing it before I have another kid. Sigh.
    And LOVE the glasses!!
