Blogger’s Quilt Festival!

11 May

It’s time to get ready for the Blogger’s Quilt Festival!  Last Fall there were well over 600 entries and I am guessing this festival will outdo the last.  Amy has found all sorts of sponsors, so there will be various giveaways, but the best part is seeing everyone else’s quilt and being inspired by all their amazing work.

The festival runs from May 21-28, so don’t forget to participate!

Did you do this last year? I looked at the site, but I still don’t completely understand – it is a chance to win giveaways and increase traffic to your blog? Do you blog about a fave quilt you made yourself, or your favorite out in the world? (b/c I don’t think I have made my favorite quilt yet….)

You blog about a quilt you have made. I don’t think it has to be your absolute favorite and the guidelines are pretty general, like I would think you could tell a story about a quilt you have that your grandmother made.
Here is a link to last Fall’s festival ( I am #587). You can click on some of the participants and get an idea of what people were blogging about. I loved seeing everyone’s work and finding new blogs to read!
