Free Craftsy Pattern: Disappearing 9-Patch Quilt

24 Aug

Disappearing 9-patch modern baby quilt pattern, an easy first quilt

I’ve had some requests that I make my Scrappy Lone Star Tutorial into a downloadable PDF.  I am updating my class worksheets and I’ll put it on Craftsy as a free pattern soon, but I also realized I had this pattern for a Disappearing 9-Patch baby quilt.  This is such an easy pattern for a first time quilter and a fast, yet intricate looking quilt for experienced quilters who want a quick project.  I love putting the fabrics together and then seeing how they look once I slice the blocks up.

It’s available as a free pattern on Craftsy for you to download. Go get it!

I totally bought this last night while I was perusing quilting patterns on craftsy. I could have used this a week ago when I was trying to figure out how to make my D9P and I just cut it out this week. (I ended up with the same math! I tried using 6″ or bigger, but the 5″ just worked so much better to make it a practical size.) It is up on my design wall right now. And I love your use of Notting hill. I love this line and took me forever to decide how to use it.

Hi Deborah! I offered it for free for 4 years and recently began charging. I decided that my time is worth the cost of a Starbucks latte:)
