I’ve had lots of progress, but not a lot of finishes lately.
This is what has been taking up most of my time:
Our backyard was a sad, terrible, mess after being gone for three years (I won’t show you the before photo, until I have the after photos!). We’ve been spending every weekend tearing things out, building, planting, staining and cleaning. It’s moving along nicely, but I have had little time for sewing and blogging lately. The deadline to have the yard ready is May 25th for my daughter’s 2nd birthday party. Hopefully I can rest a bit after that!

In the meantime, my duvet cover finally wore out and I’ve been working on new bedding (after spending days searching the internet for ready-made bedding).
I purchased these decorator weight slub fabrics from Fabric.com. I specifically wanted cheery yellow colors to wake up to.
I have the duvet cover and a pillow finished. I am waiting for the stripe to arrive, so I can make the other 2 pillows.

In the evenings, I am slowly hand-sewing my Single Girl Quilt.
It’s slow going, but it will be so worth it in the end!

I want to come play in the playhouse!! So fun. The duvet is gorgeous! I bought a slub from there and it was so stiff, did you order swatches or how did you choose?
