WIP Wednesday

28 Nov

How does Wednesday come around so soon?  The next one will be December!

I feel like I made some very slow progress this week, but I guess I actually did a lot:

Fat Quarterly Quilted Tree Skirt with houses

Fat Quarterly “The Hood” Christmas Tree Skirt- DONE!!  Check back Friday for a blog post about it!

Jaybird Quilts Unwind Quilt

“Unwind” Quilt is in the middle of being quilted on my NEW machine.

Hexy scrap quilt, hexagons

Hexy Scrap Quilt is finally being sewn together (though I still need to make a couple hundred hexes…I wanted to free up some templates). I decided on a diagonal stripe layout, alternating color and neutral hexies.

That’s it for now!  I still need to make Emma’s doll and I have a potholder swap for the LAMQG that I need to get working on.

I just love the Christmas tree skirt! Fabrics so cheery, and the quilting is very festive. Did you overlap the spirals/circles? I’d like to know more about how you quilted it.

Hey I really love the quilting you’re doing on Unwind! Is that all just freehand as it flows?

Love the buttons on your tree skirt! Your hexagons are looking great. Have fun with all of your projects.

I was at the library the other day and saw this tree skirt online. I thought the page I found had the pattern for free. However, now I can’t find it. Can you tell me where I can get the patter? Thank you.
