My husband gave me an iPad as a combination Mother’s Day/Birthday gift and of course the first thing it needed was a rockin’ case!
I purchased this great PDF pattern from Sew Spoiled and it was very easy to follow. The hardest part was getting my husband to cut the masonite for me.
I used Laurie Wisbrun’s Tufted Tweets Wing Chair for the outside and DS Quilts Fairgrounds dots for the lining and tab.
It also folds back to become a stand. I prop it this way when I am watching a show and I lay it down the other way when I am making a recipe.
Better yet, it works with my magnetic cover.
I think I know what I am making people for Christmas!

that is awesome. LOVE the tufted tweets. Seriously, what is better than fabric with chairs? Maybe bicycles, but just maybe. Looks like it will be a great case for you.
It’s awesome! Looks so professional.
Yummy! Love those fabrics! My iPad is jealous of your iPad ’cause it’s way better dressed. 🙂
It looks great!! I’m just jealous because I don’t have an iPad 😉
I’m with Lucy – I want an iPad just so I can make this too! It’s beautiful!
This is great, I have an iPad but it’s got a boring cover.
Thanks for linking up with TGIFF 🙂
I have been looking for a great iPad cover pattern and this just might be it! Thanks for showcasing, and what beautiful fabric and colour scheme you chose!

That’s awesome! I like how it works with the ipad standing up as well.
This is quite awesome! I am going to have to make one of these for mine.
