The Issue 14 of Fat Quarterly is out today and I am thrilled to say that the pattern for my “No Strings Attached” Quilt is in it!
I had so much fun designing and sewing this quilt that I made TWO. Featured in Fat Quarterly is a 59″x 71″ couch quilt made with Indian Summer by Sarah Watson.
I also made a smaller, baby quilt, version using Don’t Be Crabby, by Laurie Wisbrun and various solids.
Because two isn’t enough, I still want to make yet another version, using only scraps. This quilt will utilize even your tiniest scraps and the giant triangles make it go together quickly.
Head on over and check out the issue!
Love these quilts Janice! Congrats on getting the pattern included in Fat Quarterly. 🙂
This is so great. You have been quite the busy quilter lately with this and the Kite quilt -they’re all amazing.
They are gorgeous! And so lovely to see they are in the magazine! I love the Indian Summer colors….

what beautiful quilts! and you sure have been busy !! How long did it take to make the first one? I really would like to snuggle under that one on a snowy evening! Is there a reason you used white as the “sashing”? thanks for sharing?

I read your pattern this morning in the issue, and it is lovely. I also love how it sets off the palette in the Indian Summer prints so nicely.
How fabulous! Love the stinginess of it all!!

I absolutely love both color combinations that you used. Congrats on having your wonderful pattern published!
I LOVE how this turned out! I’ve been searching for your pattern, but it seems that fag quarterly doesn’t exist anymore, and I would love to make this quilt! Please email the pattern if you can! Thanks!

The link for the pattern no longer goes to the Fat Quarterly Website. I would really like this pattern. Could you send it to me or direct me to where I can find it? Thank you so much!!
Hi! I would love to make this, but the link to the issue doesn’t work. Is there another way to get the pattern?
Hello. I realize this was posted ten years ago, I have done some online searching…I’d like to have this pattern as my daughter has picked it off of Pinterest as one she would like for a graduation gift. Is there a chance you could send me a copy at the email I sign with? Thanks so much!
