Sew Cute Tuesday

It’s finally time for Sew Cute Tuesday!

(A little late, but hey, it’s only 8am here!)

There were so many great projects last week!  Here were a few that caught my eye:

Alissa from Gold Shoe Girl made this adorable pillow.  I love the big, red rick-rack trim.

Heather at Winding Bobbins wins the Crazy Quilter award for making a bathmat out of hand-sewn hexagons!  I LOVE it! Most people’s hexagon projects lay in a box unfinished (like mine) and she found a unique use for them and can enjoy looking at them everyday.

Amanda at Material Girl made placemats from charm packs and a great Moda cross-weave fabric (I need some!).  I really want to make more items for the house this year and these are definitely on my list!

It’s time to link-up your projects from the past week!

• Sewing projects only (that includes crochet, knitting and anything with fabric and thread!)

•Please be sure to visit a couple other blogs in the link-up and give them some love.

• Link back to my blog and help spread the word about Sew Cute Tuesday!

  1. haha – thanks for the little shout-out and crazy quilter award! :)

  2. Thanks Janice! You will love the cross-weave, it’s so nice to sew with.

  3. I also have hexagons in a box! I must get them out and finish them. They were so portable when I was basting the hexagons on the papers but now they are about a foot and a half across they are not so portable. Another one for my long list!

  4. Thanks for the party, Janice.
