WIP Wednesday

7 Nov

Progress feels very slow lately, but it’s still progress!

I have TONS of WIPs, but I’m just focusing on two right now and this quilt is actually on my 100 Day Hustle list!

Jaybird Quilts Unwind Quilt

I have all 120 blocks for my Jaybird Quilts “Unwind” Quilt ready to piece together into a top.  This is a gift, but there is no due date.  I really want to get this done by Thanksgiving, though.

Wee Wonderful Kit, Chloe, Louise Doll

My second project is a doll, which is for a birthday on Saturday.  She’s almost done, but she needs clothing and eyebrows (I need to buy tan floss for that).

I’ve never made a doll before and I am really enjoying working on it.  I used the Wee Wonderfuls Kit, Chloe & Louise pattern, but altered the hair and I want to maybe do clothing like this doll.  I actually have two more dolls sewn and ready to stuff.  One for a friend’s daughter and one for Emmeline for Christmas, so there will be more appearing on my blog over the next month!

The little dolly is adorable. My girls are too old for dolls, but I may have to make one for myself!! Love the aqua and yellows in your quilt, too – delish!

Your fabrics for Undwind are gorgeous. That is one sweet little doll already, even without eyebrows and clothing!
