We are moving back to Los Angeles in October!
It’s very sudden and I am still processing everything, but it really is what is best for my family. I always knew we would be going back someday, but I didn’t think that meant by Halloween.
I will miss my new NorCal friends, the newly blossoming North Bay Modern Quilt Guild and the gorgeous scenery (not to mention the lack of traffic and smog). I am very excited to be back with old friends, our house (my sewing room!) and to be able to rejoin the Los Angeles Modern Quilt Guild. I was only able to go to a couple meetings before we moved, so I am planning to be fully involved this time!
It’ll be a crazy couple months, but I am determined to keep creating (for my own sanity) and to keep visiting everyone’s lovely, inspiring blogs.
As an aside, my WordPress is being wacko right now and it stopped emailing me comments. I appreciate each and every one and I try to reply to all of them and visit the blog of every new visitor. If you don’t hear back from me I’m sorry. Between the move and WP, it’s taking longer to answer them, so bear with me!
And lastly, because no blog entry is complete without a photo, here is my sweet little helper.

Awwww shucks! I was just looking into possibly joining the North Bay Modern Quilt Guild, and I saw all your lovely quilts! You look like someone that could teach me a lot about quilting…. good luck on your move, wherever you land, if you have your family with you, it will be home!
Best of luck!
