Vintage Linen Scrappy Quilt: Pt. 2

25 May

I said I would post photos of the back of my vintage linen scrappy quilt, so here they are!

I am really excited to see how it all looks quilted and bound.  The floral panel is a vintage Hanae Mori sheet that I found at American Way Thrift Store in Burbank (not nearly as clean as Goodwill, but there are good finds.  I saw rats running around once *shutter*).  The green is a Kona cotton from Jo-Ann’s.  I am using Warm & White cotton batting which I have heard good things about.  I made sure to buy the Warm & White and not the Warm & Natural, since some of the linens are VERY thin and I don’t want the batting to show through.

I think my favorite part is the bird on the top panel:

I will update again once I brave the free-motion quilting!
