Sew Cute Tuesday

1 Jul

Happy July, everyone, and thanks for stopping by  Sew Cute Tuesday!

Better Off Thread
What does everyone have in store for this month?  I am getting ready to go on a ten day internet-free vacation, so it will probably get quiet here for a little bit, but I am hoping for Sew Cute Tuesday to continue as scheduled. When I get back, I’ll be announcing something fun to celebrate my blogiversary , so stay tuned!

Check out a few of fun projects from last week:
1
Jessica at Quilty Habit made this adorable, modern baby quilt using the “Stacked Squares” pattern from Moda.  (Jessica, I can’t get that pattern out of my head, either!) Check out the cute story behind the quilt and a link to the pattern at Jessica’s blog.
•••
2
Liz at Shush-I’m Quilting posted this great tutorial for a Fountain Pen Roll.  I wish I had a pen collection, so I could make one!  What a lucky husband.

Lorna at Sew Fresh Quilts is working on this “Oh My Scrappy Stars” Quilt and it is amazing!  You need to check out her blog to see the progress she has made on it this week. Lorna has organized a quilt-along for this quilt and it in’t too late to join in.

It’s time to link-up your projects from the past week!

• Sewing projects only (that includes crochet, knitting and anything with fabric and thread!)

•Please be sure to visit a couple other blogs in the link-up and give them some love.

Thanks for hosting again Janice! That stacked squares quilt is quite ingenious – I think Erica from Kitchen Table Quilting has created a brilliant design there. It’s on my to do list as well and I love how Jessica’s has a more sketchy, mixed up look to it.
