I can’t tell you too much about my first WIP this week, because it’s for a secret swap on Flickr. I am really, REALLY excited about it and I can’t wait to see how it turns out.
Here is the fabric:

Here is the other project I am working on right now. It’s going to be a gift and I am finally getting to use the Jaybird Quilts pattern that I received as a gift from my friend, Alison.
The fabric is Jeni Baker’s Blogger’s Choice bundle from Fat Quarter Shop. I don’t usually buy preselected bundles, but this one really caught my eye and it was so much easier than trying to pick out all those fabrics. It was exactly the right amount of fat quarters for a lap-sized quilt.
I’m linking up today with WIP Wednesday over at Freshly Pieced.

Ooh, that stack of fabrics is going to look fabulous as a circle of geese!

With all those pretty colors, whoever gets your swap block will be very well pleased. It is a block swap and not a whole quilt swap right?
zellergirl says
It’s a mini quilt, so I am making 4 blocks (a complete circle) and quilting and binding it. It needs to be between 12″x12″ and 24″x24″.

Hi,
Finally found your site re-New york Beauty with Circle of Geese which I have been looking for, since it started. My problem is when I printed the “geese” to 140% as you said, I found that I need 9 geese for the quarter instead of 8. where have I gone wrong? Would appreciate your help. Many thanks in advance
Regards, Monica
